Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition
The 18th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition will be held from April 28 to May 15, 2026, at the Tel Aviv Museum.
Named after one of the 20th century’s greatest pianists, the Competition is a wonderful tradition going back over 50 years. Jacob Bistritzky, founder of the Competition, recognized the importance of managing Rubinstein’s musical legacy for future generations. And indeed, Rubinstein’s spirit has been the Competition’s inspiration since 1974, when it started, and it is considered one of the leading and most influential piano competitions in the world.
Queen Elisabeth Competition
In 2026, the Queen Elisabeth Competition will be dedicated to the cello for the third time. The best young cellists from the four corners of the world will compete in Brussels, from 4 May to 10 June. The candidates can consult the rules below. Applications will open end of October or beginning of November 2025. Tickets will be on sale as from January or February 2026.
Verbier Festival
The Verbier Festival is an international classical music event that takes place each summer in the mountain town of Verbier, Switzerland. The Festival’s mission is to build a community of exchange between great masters and young artists from all over the world and to be a leader in its field by providing meaningful music education programmes.
